Current day dynamic economic, business and industrial environment requires a concrete bridging between industrial and academic practices, and unfortunately it can be seen in a few academic institutes only. Both of the players are working in isolation and are not connected so as a result the context and problem driven research is out of practice. Student Consultancy Program is designed to link the gap between these players. City University’s Student Consultancy Program is striving to bridge the gap on one side by providing the hands on experience of the real problems of the industry and the market adopted from thematic areas defined after a systematic process to the senior students and on the other side industry and corporate sector is getting the real and workable solution of the problems being faced by them. This program binds the senior students of bachelors programs and all students of the masters and PhD programs to work and gain knowledge and experience under the efficient supervision and support of their teachers and course instructors so that once they graduate from the university they are able to work on their own in respective areas of choice and interest.
